How to shop online

Browsing our online shop

  • Take time to browse our online shop. You can access this by clicking on the product categories, down the left hand side of the Home Page, and click on the “Product Category” or “Product Brand” you are interested in.

Choosing products

  • You can search for any particular items in the search bar, in the search function of the website. Or you can also find your items under the relevant headings on the left hand side of the site.

Ordering product

  • Click on the “add to cart” button. This will add the product to your “shopping cart”, until you are ready to go to “checkout”, and complete your order. While you continue to shop, you can access your “shopping cart” at any point by clicking on the cart symbol, at the top right hand side of the page.

Complete delivery and payment details

  • When you have finished shopping and want to complete your order, click on the “shopping cart” button. This will take you to a screen where you enter your address and payment details. Payment is made by credit or debit cards.
  • We accept all major cards via our secure online payment system. Link to secure credit section Images of these cards; ie mastercard, visa etc

Track your order

  • You can track your order by logging onto “My Account” in the “My Orders” section.
  • If you have any questions regarding your order you can contact us directly by telephone or email. See the “contact us section”.
  • We only use national carriers for delivery. You will be required to sign when the goods arrive, to say they have been received in good order. In the unlikely event that goods arrive with damaged packaging, they must be signed as “package damaged” on receipt from the carrier. If they are not signed in this way we cannot take responsibility for this, as there is no proof the package was damaged in transit from ourselves to you.

Damaged, Faulty or incorrect goods

  • We take every step possible to ensure that your goods arrive with you correctly and undamaged. However if damages or errors have occurred, we require you to inform within 3 working days of receipt of these goods. You can contact us directly by telephone or email. See the “contact us section”, link to contact us section quoting your invoice number. We will give you a Returns Number. This number must be quoted if the goods have to be returned to us.
  • We will either replace or refund the cost of the goods, on return to ourselves and confirmation of the damage or fault.
  • Goods arriving with damaged packaging, in transit from ourselves to you, must be signed as “package damaged” on receipt from the carrier. If they are not signed in this way we cannot take responsibility for this, as there is no proof the package was damaged in transit.

Returning Goods

  • We will not accept goods for credit or refund unless you have obtained a Returns Number. Goods may be returned within 5 working days from the date they were received by the consumer. We offer a money back guarantee (excluding carriage charges). Returned goods must be in a new condition, unopened in their original, undamaged packaging with all components intact. Otherwise returned goods will not be accepted for refunds. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee if the goods are not returned in a suitable condition.
  • Products that have been specially ordered ie goods that we do not normally stock cannot be accepted for return and refund.
  • All goods to be returned must have prior approval and a Returns Number.
  • We recommend that all goods be sent back by registered post, we cannot accept responsibility for goods lost or damaged on return to ourselves.
  • A full refund will be made within 5 days of the goods being received by ourselves.

Manufacturer’s Warranty

Ordering Offline

  • www.dlkphoto.co.uk has been designed to accept orders and payments online. However if you do not wish to purchase online, we welcome orders by email, phone, fax or post. To do this either print out your order at the “checkout” stage and phone us directly, email, fax or post it to us with your order or enquiry.


Payment


We accept all major cards via a secure online payment system. Shopping with www.dlkphoto.co.uk is safe and secure. We use the latest technology available to ensure your payments are completely confidential, safe and secure. Payment will not be taken for any goods until they are in stock and ready for despatch.

Payment gateway

  • In order to do this we take your payment through a “payment gateway” or “Payment Service Provider”, called Paypoint.net. We do not hold any of your credit or debit cards details on our own server or anywhere internally. As you enter your personal details onto our site, they are encrypted using 128 bit SSL, so they cannot be read by us or any other parties. The details are only unencrypted when they reach the secure Paypoint.net server. Paypoint.net is one of the largest and most secure payment gateways, in the UK.

Security

  • You can be completely assured that nothing we pass to Paypoint.net’s servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.
  • Paypoint.net’s systems are scanned quarterly by Trustwave which are an independent Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) for the payment card brands.
  • Paypoint.net’s is also audited annually under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) and is a fully approved Level 1 payment services provider, which is the highest level of compliance. PayPoint.net’s continued investment in the latest security systems, measures and software is substantial and ongoing.

VAT free Orders

  • If you are VAT registered and your business is based inside the EU (outside the UK), you are entitled to be invoiced without a VAT charge. If you wish to have the VAT removed, please complete the special instructions box, when entering your payment details. We require your VAT number, VAT registered name and VAT registered address. Please note that when ordering through www.dlkphoto.co.uk, the VAT will not be deducted until we have verified the VAT number provided. We will then amend the total order amount to exclude the VAT. You will receive an email with the new amended VAT free total.

Finance Options

  • For purchases of higher value equipment, such as cameras, printers or kiosks www.dlkphoto.co.uk can organize a range of finance options, for payments over longer periods of time (for example 2 or 3 years). These are subject to the terms and conditions of the companies offering the finance packages. Please contact us for more information.

  • All prices and promotional offers, quoted on www.dlkphoto.co.uk are subject to change without notice.

  • The site has the option to make payment in euros or sterling.

Delivery Times

  • www.dlkphoto.co.uk use only national carriers for delivery.
  • Ireland, North and South, is next day delivery service.
  • Mainland UK is next day a 3 working days, delivery service.
  • Rest of Europe delivery time will be quoted at time of ordering goods.

Stock Levels and despatch times.

  • All products have a stock colour code to indicate the stock levels and expected despatch times.
  • In stock - This product is in stock and will be despatched for next day delivery.
  • Low stock - Our stock of this item is low, and may run out soon. If there is not enough stock to fulfill your order, we will inform you of the likely delivery time by email. Normally items out of stock take 3-5 days to replenish. You will always have the right to cancel your order if you are not satisfied with the delivery timescale.   • Special Order - These are products that we sell regularly, but we do not hold in stock. They will be ordered once you have placed your order with us. We will confirm the expected delivery time after we confirm the order with our supplier. You will always have the right to cancel your order if you are not satisfied with the delivery timescale. With these products we require a 20% deposit to secure the order. Full payment will not be taken for the balance until the goods are in stock and ready for dispatch.   • Pre- Order - This is a new product just announced on the market by our suppliers. It may not be immediately available in stock. It is likely to in short supply, and will be on an allocation only, when it arrives into stock. Pre-ordered items will place you on a waiting list, to be allocated in order of date we received orders first. We will confirm the expected delivery time after we receive confirmation from our supplier. You will always have the right to cancel the order if you are not satisfied with the delivery timescale. There is also an option to collect goods from our showroom. When this option is chosen no delivery is charged.

  • Free delivery available to UK Mainland, Scotland, Wales, NI & ROI customers only. Free delivery offer is not valid in conjunction with any other offer. Offer can only be redeemed with a valid offer code. Free Delivery applies to one address per order for standard delivery. Code is valid for one order per customer. No cash or other alternatives. We reserve the right to amend or withdraw the offer at any time. Offer applies to standard courier delivery only – excludes pallets.
